This concentrated blend of emulsifiers is designed for the rapid and effective dispersal of oil spills.

AGMA DR 379 conforms to WSL standard LR 448 (OP) and is approved by The Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (the licensing authority in the UK) as a Type 2/3 concentrated oil dispersant (Approval reference number ODA 247).

This oil spill dispersant solution is licensed for application at sea, on sandy or pebble amenity beaches and also on rocky shores.

In line with UK MMO guidance, sealed in original packaging, initial retest is required after 10 years then every 5 years. Please contact us if testing is required.

Available in batches of 210kg.

How to use

  • Type II – Application: Dilute 10 fold in fresh or saline water and spray onto oil spill using approved spraying equipment.
  • Type III – Application: Use undiluted. At sea one part dispersant sprayed onto 20 – 30 parts of oil
  • DO NOT ADMIX DISPERSANTS OF DIFFERING TYPE CATEGORIES: This product should not be used in less than 20m of water or within 1 mile of water less than 20m deep without the approval of the licensing agency.
  • Store in closed containers under ambient conditions between -10°C and 30°C. 
  • Covered storage is recommended where long term storage is necessary in order to preserve labelling and batch marking from severe weather.

Health and Safety 

  • Causes serious eye irritation
  • Wash hands thoroughly after handling
  • Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection
  • IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do and continue rinsing
  • If eye irritation persists: Seek medical attention
