A highly alkaline degreaser detergent which combines dispersants and water softeners, Agmaklenz 42W excels at removing oils, greases, carbon, rust, scale and paint.
A heavy duty built alkaline deruster, decarboniser and paint stripper in powder form, Agmaklenz 42W is commonly used in hot or cold soak tank operations and has been trusted by the OCTG industry to refurbish oil drilling tools for over 35 years.
Heating Agmaklenz 42W before use will boost its performance, particularly in respect of speed. When time is not critical, considerable savings and ecological advantages can be realised by using the product at ambient temperature.
AGMAKLENZ 42W at a concentration of 200g/litre is maintained at or near to a rolling boil in a suitable tank, where agitation may be applied either from compressed air or mechanical means. Rusty parts are immersed in basket work trays and allowed to soak for 10 minutes in the case of light flash rusting or for up to 45 minutes for severe corrosion and heat treatment scales.
