DEFRA-approved for general and specific orders (including foot and mouth, swine vesicular and tuberculosis) these cost-effective disinfectant tablets provide high dilution rates, accurate dosing, and a long shelf life of up to 5 years.

Versatile for daily routine disinfection use in all livestock facilities, stables, kennels, markets, holding pens, transport and veterinary.

How to use tablets:

  • Achieve accurate dosing by simply adding the required number of tablets to the specified volume of warm water (40⁰C) for the required application, see the tables here.
  • The surface should be clean and free from dirt or soiled materials before using Dis-in-fect.
  • Thoroughly wet the cleaned surface with the disinfection solution by the most suitable means, such as a low pressure trigger spray or a clean disposable cloth. Leave to dry naturally. Do not rinse. Equipment Surfaces which come into intimate contact with your horse, will require rinsing with clean potable water before re-use.
  • Check the solution strength on preparation and regularly, thereafter, using AGMA test strips. Refresh when the colour chart indicates the working solution has dropped below the recommended amount of available chlorine.


Health & Safety

If the product makes contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of soap and water.

Eye contact, bathe the eye with running water for 15 minutes.

If ingested, wash out of the mouth with water. Do not induce vomiting. If conscious, give half a litre of water to drink immediately. Transfer to hospital as soon as possible.

For inhalation, remove casualty from exposure ensuring one’s own safety whilst doing so. Consult a doctor.

Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.

Make sure to keep the area well ventilated whilst disinfecting.
