Description

Solcon 137 is a solvent based quick-break emulsifier cleaner specially designed, researched and developed to excel at solvent degreasing while limiting environmental impact.

Quick break emulsifiers allow oils and water to emulsify (mix) during cleaning, and once in a separating tank the emulsion breaks, and the oil and water layers separate: the less-dense oils rise to the top and the dense particles sink to the bottom, allowing the middle water layer to be easily removed. 

Solcon 137 has been formulated using water-soluble components that have good biodegradability in fresh water tests and high LC50 (i.e. low toxicity to fish) in fish toxicity tests (Goldon Orfe).

Available in 20kg or 170kg batches.

How to use

  • Apply via brush or spray directly onto soiled areas
  • Allow to sit for up to 5 minutes, then rinse with hot or cold water at a pressure of 80-100 psi
  • Rinsed water and waste should be allowed to dwell for up to 30 minutes after which the aqueous layer can be discharged
  • Supernatant oil can then be discharged by qualified waste contractors
