Description

An extremely effective solvent detergent with special emulsifiers and wetting agents. Solcon 80R can be mixed with water, and when diluted beyond 50% its flash point becomes extinct, providing significant health and safety benefits. 

Like its sister ‘Solcon 80R LT’, Solcon 80R removes an unusually large number of unrelated compounds making it an excellent all-purpose solvent-based cleaner.

This heavy duty solvent emulsifier is ideal for the removal of oils,

greases, tars and many other organic contaminants. It is ultimately degradable under E.U. test protocol.

Solcon 80R’s high performance against such a broad spectrum of compounds lends itself to a wide array of cleaning applications, including:

  • Machine tools
  • Oil fuel tanks, pipelines, burner equipment
  • Shipyards
  • Agricultural plant and machinery
  • Printing machinery
  • Oily garage and engineering shop floors
  • Vehicle engines and chassis
  • Heavy duty rig wash

How to use

  • Can be applied via cloth, brush, hot/cold tank soaking and pressure washer
  • Dilution rates depend on the heaviness of the soils 
  • Can be used cold, or heated up to a maximum of 60°C
  • Solcon 80R works by penetration and requires very little manual work
