Meet Wendy, AGMA’s 2024 Employee of the Year.
Wendy works at AGMA HQ in Haltwhistle, Northumberland, where we develop, formulate, and manufacture all of our specialty chemical products.
Wendy is more than just brilliant at what she does, she was awarded Employee of the Year in recognition of her support for customers and colleagues, her good nature, and her willingness to always go the extra mile.
Wendy has been a vital part of the busy administrative support team at AGMA since she joined us in 2023. When the position at AGMA came up, two family members already worked for AGMA and enjoyed their work. The job description outlined everything Wendy enjoyed doing. It was a perfect fit and time for Wendy to join the AGMA family.
Born and bred in Haltwhistle, Wendy quickly settled into the rhythm of life at AGMA.
“I’ve enjoyed working closely with colleagues who are also friends,” she says.
“Many of us have known each other for many years, having grown up in Haltwhistle, which creates a happy family work culture and sense of belonging.”
In her spare time, Wendy enjoys taking on projects that challenge her. She enjoys a good crossword puzzle and Sudoku. She also loves line dancing and Zumba with her friends, locally in Haltwhistle.
Wendy is looking forward to becoming a grandparent for the first time in 2025.
